Why not join us and follow the Danube between Passau and Vienna, cycling one of Europe's most famous bike routes? With such a diverse range of landscapes, cultural and historical sites this route covers, without doubt, the most interesting stretch of this great river. Pretty farms, imposing castles, glorious abbeys, steep vineyards and fertile plains all line the banks and provide wonderful contrasts as we pedal on from one hotel to the next.

Stunning riding through the unique environment of the Anti Atlas, an oasis of palm-fringed valleys and orchards in Moroccos' deep south. We finish with a dramatic descent of the southern flanks of the High Atlas through the Paradise Valley to the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Predominantly on surfaced roads, this tour provides a range of gradients and some steep descents, suitable for those with some previous biking experience. We base ourselves in hotels throughout to ensure comfort as well as adventure.

The northern side of the Sierra Nevada is still little visited - in spite of its very special beauty. The region around Guadix is unique in Europe having more than 2000 inhabited caves dug into the hills and canyons. Cycling is rewarding and quite undemanding on roads with little to no traffic, and takes us through a rugged and varied landscape. Sheer canyons chop their way into a semi-arid desert reminiscent of Arizona, whilst the Moorish villages of the Alpujarras and the splendour of Granada add to the diversity of this trip, all in the shadows of the peaks of the Sierra Nevada - often snow capped until late May.

Rich in culture, history and cuisine, Burgundy is one of the most fascinating areas of France. Our one week exploration by bicycle takes us along the historic Canal de Bourgogne and quiet backroads to fortified villages, chateaux and abbeys which bear testimony to the wealth and power of the church and state in medieval France. Our routes are flexible, average approx. 45km per day between nightstops, with the option to extend on longer routes according to the interest of the group, and there is plenty of time for relaxation or independent exploration.

On this cycling tour through Jordan, we'll explore the dramatic beauty of the Great Rift Valley, Wadi Rum, arguably Arabia's finest desert, the rugged shoreline along the Dead Sea and the spectacular site of Petra itself. An area of exceptional natural splendour and amazing archaeological importance.

Tropically lush and emerald green, the far southern state is India's gleaming hidden jewel. Our cycling route in this compact yet scenically diverse region takes us along shaded backroads past beaches and backwaters and through the countryside and villages to the spice and tea plantations of the inland foothills. Travelling well off the beaten track by bicycle affords a deeper insight into the lives of the Keralan people; famed for their welcoming and cosmopolitan outlook on life, they refer to their home as "God's Own Country"!

Rural north-eastern Poland offers a charming mix of colourful wooden villages, orthodox churches, unspoilt marshlands disturbed only by birdsong and beaver, and great tracts of untouched wild beech and oak forest, still home to bison and wolf. Time seems to have stood still in this forgotten corner of Europe and we leave the cares of the 21st century behind during our easy-paced explorations along deserted backroads and tranquil forest trails.

The remarkable Canal du Midi links the Atlantic to the Mediterranean, its lower sections passing through historic centres such as Carcassonne and Narbonne together with some of the prettiest scenery in southwest France. Rich in culture, history and natural beauty our easy itinerary leads us along tree-lined towpaths, over beautiful stone bridges and into the heart of the Minervois region, famous for its wines. Anyone wanting longer rides than those planned can opt for additional sections, revealing more of this beautiful region.

Cycling mainly on quiet backroads and farm tracks we discover the magical region of Cappadocia in central Turkey, where soft lava and ash rock has eroded over millennia to form a fairytale landscape unlike any other on earth. Bizarrely shaped rock forms and exotically contoured cliffs feast the eye while underground a fascinating network of tunnels, rock-cut churches, caves and even whole cities are waiting to be explored. Our route takes us through the best of Cappadocia's landscapes but also to areas seldom visited by tourists which seem to belong in a different age.

Amongst the back roads and villages of County Clare can be found quintessential Ireland. Here wild windswept landscapes of green fields, stone walls, ruined castles, exotic flowers and towering sea cliffs are all framed by the mighty Atlantic Ocean. It's all too easy to escape into this 'other world' of virtually traffic-free roads, enjoying gentle paced cycling with plenty of time to stop and explore the unique history and fascinating flora of the Burren. And in the evenings the familiar sounds of the Bodhrun, fiddles and whistles can be heard along with stamping feet as Ceiles unfold in pubs up and down the county.
