Explore Cyprus' cultural heritage on one of our walking holidays. Walking in Cyprus takes you into the untouched interior of the Troodos Mountains, passing mountain villages and enjoying the cool, fresh air. As well as walking in the peaceful countryside, you'll visit Makarios' tomb, the Roman remains of the House of Dionysos and Kourion, the most spectacular archaeological site on the island, where excavations are still bringing new treasures to light.

On Foot in Northern Cyprus takes you through a landscape dotted with medieval castles and quiet rustic villages. Based outside of Kyrenia, you'll walk through forests of Mediterranean pine and juniper, visiting ancient sites such as St Hilarion Castle, one of the last castles taken by the Crusaders in 1191, and Salamis (optional), the most important ancient city on the island, which is strewn with Mycenaean, Roman and Byzantine artifacts.
