Family Activities

Camel riding in the Sahara
Absorbing unfamiliar cultures, learning about the treasures of nature and unearthing the mysteries of past civilisations has never been so much fun! Family activities could involve:

  • climbing a Balinese volcano
  • a swim in a waterfall in Cuba
  • scrambling into the centre of an Egyptian pyramid
  • watching the big cats drink from a waterhole in Botswana
  • a camel ride amongst Saharan dunes
  • or, saying hi to an inquisitive dolphin from your kayak off the Corsican coast.

Water, water everywhere

Children love the water and we plan family accommodation with this in mind. The dossier will highlight places where there is swimming available, and more generally there are plenty of itineraries with water themes:

  • canoe down the sleepy Dordogne
  • raft in France's Savoie Alps
  • snorkel in the Red Sea
  • or, swim off the palm-fringed beaches of the Seychelles...

Parental consent

Any child under the age of 16 wishing to participate in the advertised activities can do so only with full consent of their parent or guardian.
