Tour route of Classical Turkey

Often called the 'Cradle of Civilisation', Turkey is home to some of the world's most ancient peoples. Scattered the length of the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts lie the remains of some of the classical world's great cities.

Their dramatic locations and incredible stories will bring history to life for your students.

We take time to explore some of the most notable cities - Miletus, Xanthos, Pergamon and Ephesus - as well as lesser known sites like Pinara where we'll enjoy a spectacular walk. We'll also see the 'frozen waterfall' of Pamukkale where we can take a dip in the ancient springs.

We conclude in picturesque Dalyan for a relaxing and fun end to the trip.

Best time to visit: April to October
