We're delighted that Diego Torres Garzon has been short listed by Wanderlust for the "Paul Morrison Guide Award", which celebrates the world's best guides and tour leaders!

Diego has been leading tours for Explore for 10 years after qualifying at University in tourism management, but also completing his Masters in Ecotourism and Management of Protected Natural Areas. His ambition is to continue working with Explore but also progress the cause of sustainable tourism. Many Explore customers have nominated him for our own tour leader awards, but he regularly receives praise from those who have travelled with him in his native Ecuador.

The Wanderlust judges are taking additional feedback into consideration now, before making a final decision, with a little over a month to go before the 19th May submission deadline, if you have anything to add to the plaudits he's already received, please do get in touch with them.
