Tuscany - Food for Thought

28 April 2008
Tuscany has long been known for it's culture, wine and food. The region was the cradle of the renaissance movement and was the birthplace of Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Boticelli. From the gentle rolling countryside which characterizes this region to the artistic splendour of Florence this region cannot fail to capture your imagination.

Along with Art the region is known across the world for its other famous export Chianti, our tours offer you the chance to sample wines aplenty, whether your tipple is Chianti, or the more expensive brunello di montalcino, you will find something to suit every pallet.

The region is also home to a number of delicacies including Fiorentina Steak which has its origins in Roman Times, along with Wild Boar dishes and olives which are grown in abundance around Lucca.
