High Tatras and Slovak Paradise
Rich in culture and history, the Renaissance town of Levoca, has been called the 'jewel in the Spis crown' its square overflowing with 14th-15th century burgher houses. A short drive away is Tatranska Lomnica, a mountain resort in the Tatras National Park and starting point of our exhilarating journey by cable car for the most breathtaking of views from the snowy heights of Lomnicky Stit (2634m). The Slovak Paradise National Park is an area of dense spruce forests with limestone hills riven with plunging ravines and caves that are home to rare flora and fauna including brown bear, wolf, lynx, eagle and chamois. We aim to snowshoe to a mountain viewpoint overlooking this spectacular park. Snowshoeing is great fun and non-technical so suitable for anyone who enjoys walking!

Skating and Spas
The Hornad River Canyon cuts through ridges and hills, some rising up to 300 metres above the icy meanderings of the river below. We plan to take a unique ice-skating excursion on the river, through an eerie frozen landscape. The geothermal waters of eco-friendly Aquacity resort provide the perfect place to relax and warm up; a haven of therapeutic, mineral rich pools, spas and saunas and with a state of the art cryotherapy centre, you're sure to return home rejuvenated!
