I get bored when I’m not on the go, so being a tour leader suits me well.
One of my greatest loves is travelling. The best thing about being a tour leader is being a free spirit and being able to speak your heart and share your beautiful country and culture with some amazing travellers. It really makes you proud of what you are and where you’re from.
Out of work, I also love to ride motorbikes and drive. I am a very passionate cook, and my favourite dishes have to be Laal Maans (Spicy Mutton dish from Rajasthan), Rawa Masala Dosa (Special delicacy made out of rice flour) and Jangli Maans (typical hunting expedition mutton preparation).
What do I love best about my country? Unity in diversity. India’s culture is so unique and so totally unexpected. It can’t be explained in words; it’s best experienced in person. India gives travellers the chance to live a different life for a while; enjoy a different festival every day; and have you smiling every second.
My final word: Be flexible in how you approach India. Be open to the fact that the whole world is not same. Be patient and have a sense of humour; after all, that is why you are leaving your home to come and see it!
