During the week, I work as a tour guide or in our office. Then at weekends I like to spend time with my family and friends. My immediate family is quite small; I am the second child of four. However my parents came from big families. I lose count how many cousins I have!
In my free time, I also enjoy fishing. I'm not an expert, but it relaxes me from the stresses of day-to-day life.
I got in to this job based on my passion for traveling, exploring, and adventure. Being a tour leader can be challenging; however as long as you are confident about what you need to do, then the rest simply follows.
Malaysia is blessed with multiple colors of culture and nature. I believe that is why so many people choose to come to Malaysia.
To visitors, I would say make sure your socks are clean and your feet are dry all the time. It makes a big difference when you're travelling on tour! And as you are in a rainforest area, be prepared for nature to surprise you. Expect the unexpected. Explore fully prepare customers before they arrive on tour. However my last piece of advice would be, make sure your level of fitness matches the level required for every tour. You will enjoy it much more if it does.
