We could tell you how great our cycling holidays are – and they really are great – but who better to tell you about the experience you could be having than people like you?
Here are a small selection of reviews we’ve received from Explore customers (and one staff member!) on some of our cycling tours:
“The best day by far was in the High Atlas which involved an exhilarating sequence of descents on mostly tarmaced roads surrounded by the changing mountain scenery and Berber villages – a big reward for all our efforts and something you rarely get to do on a bike! I was pleased to be able to cover every mile of the planned cycling route, but it was also good to know that one of the vans was always leading the way and the other was always at the back to pick us up if we wanted a break from cycling.”
RB, Cycling Holiday Morocco
“This was a fabulous holiday and I can't recommend it too highly. The Tatras mountains were beautiful and we had a really long downhill on the first day of cycling with other manageable challenges on other days. Wooden houses everywhere - we were told that the unmarried women washed them every spring - several of us had concerns here! It was amazing to see strip farming in action in the fields - I wondered why we worry about preserving them in this country when you can see the real thing happening. Sampling the latest version of vodka was another interesting challenge! Krakow was a great town to explore at the end of the tour - rather like Prague but without the crowds of tourists. We really enjoyed go up the Kosciuszko Mound where you can look out over the city, and the meal with the Klezmer music made a great end to the tour. I can't recommend it highly enough - and had decided to join the trip after being recommended it by people on another tour.... I think that says it all.”

“The trip had an excellent start with the Eurostar - what a fantastic way to travel, much less hassle than checking in at the airport. France is such an amazing country - great food, great wine and great backroads for cycling. Nothing better than stopping by at a local patisserie in the morning to pick up your packed lunch. You've really deserved those pastries after all that cycling - my mouth is watering at the mere memory of it!”

“Having been on four previous EXPLORE cycling tours, I can confirm this was the one where the group, the guides, the cycling, the country and people all gelled !! I have enjoyed all the previous trips immensely but this was exceptional. The highlight was the many contacts with Cubans through meals enjoyed with local farmers. The two guides really understood the needs and interests of cyclists and made the trip exceptional: Stefan was wonderful in keeping everyone content and involved: Manuel gave us fascinating insights into the Cuban way of life. The party got on extremely well and many friendships were made which will last for a long time. We all felt we had learned much, enjoyed many new experiences and benefitted from the tour into a country so different from our own. I would unreservedly recommend the tour to anyone with an interest in cycling and a joy for new experiences”
