The London Olympics last summer, along with Bradley Wiggins’ sensational ride in the Tour de France, have ignited an upsurge of interest in cycling holidays.
Here at Explore we’ve been taken aback by the demand for all our cycling destinations, from Bosnia to Burma and beyond. Many tours are already full and we’ve had to arrange extra departures in several countries including France, Spain, Morocco, Vietnam and Cambodia.
Customers returning from our flexible, small group cycling holidays tell us there’s no better way to explore than on two wheels. Travelling by bike you can uncover a country's hidden secrets and meet local people well away from the tourist trails. You’ll also benefit rural communities, support local economies and minimise your CO2 emissions - not to mention returning home fitter and healthier than you were at the start.
With a choice of 48 cycling holidays all over the world, graded from ‘easy’ through to 'tough', we have plenty of inspiring rides for novices and experienced cyclists alike. Why not join us in 2013 and find out for yourself why cycling holidays are on a roll?
