Year round cycling
There’s not a month in the year that isn’t perfect for cycling somewhere in the world. Here’s our guide to the best places to be exploring on two wheels, and when.

Kerala - India Cycle the rural back-roads and villages of Kerala at an ideal time of year, before the heat and humidity starts to build for the monsoon season.

Burma A perfect month to escape the gloom of Europe and enjoy Burma’s sunshine; February is dry, warm but not too hot and humid.

Cuba This is Cuba’s driest and least humid month and also one of the coolest – a good time to be exploring the land of rum, rhythm and revolution.

Morocco Skirting the Sahara in southern Morocco you can enjoy hot, dry days in April with cooler, refreshing evening and early mornings.

Italy You can expect warm, sunny and dry weather in Italy in May. The landscapes in Tuscany and Sardinia are still green and full of wildflowers.

Iceland Iceland in July is normally dry and warm but not hot, with daylight hours stretching deep into the night – perfect for our camping based trip.

France Enjoy the quiet rural back-roads of France in August, when the whole country seemingly packs up and heads for the coast.

Eastern Europe Combine cooler cycling temperatures with harvest times all over rural Eastern Europe. The roads are quieter too as the holiday season ends.

South Africa Fantastic cycling in South Africa’s springtime along the ‘Garden Route’ – through fragrant, flowering hillsides and along the dramatic coast.

Vietnam Typically dry and cool, this is a good month to be exploring Vietnam by bike. The climate changes from south to north, but overall November is a hard month to beat.

Sri Lanka The rolling hills and coastal plains of tropical Sri Lanka are warm and sunny in December, but dry and not too humid - ideal for cycling.
