The Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary in Belize’s wetland area is home to a fantastic array of birds and monkeys, whilst at Cockscomb you can go searching for the elusive jaguar along jungle trails. You can also take a side trip to Maya city of Tikal (in Guatemala) and visit the lesser visited site of Altun Ha with its famous Temple of the Sun
