Egypt: Karnak Temple

Take a horse drawn carriage through Luxor’s busy streets to the vast temple of Karnak, whose circumference measures over 2.5 miles! Temple of Amun at Karnak was the labour of numerous pharaohs. Begun in about 2000 BC, this vast temple was still being added to in Cleopatra’s time (1st century BC).
