Slovenia has everything, from beaches to snow capped mountains, hills with masses of grape vines to gothic churches. Slovenia is known as the “greenest” country in the world as more than half of the country is covered in forest. As well as differing landscapes, Slovenia has a mix of climates, making it a place to visit all year round - bringing warm Mediterranean breezes up to the foothills of The Alps, where it can snow at any time!

During our Alpine Lakes of Slovenia tour, we visit some of the most attractive cities and towns, as well as visit the most spectacular cave systems in Europe. We take the train to Nova Gorica, which is the most scenic route in Slovenia, with backdrops of Julian Alps and later though wine growing region of the Vipava Valley.
