Map of Ice Hotel

The world-famous Ice hotel is located in the village of Jukkasjarvi near Kiruna in Arctic Sweden. Re-built every year from tons and ice and snow, local sculptors design each room afresh and a stay here is certainly one of the most memorable nights in a hotel you’ll ever have!

During your visit, pop into the Absolut vodka bar, where the bar, seats and even the glasses are made of ice! The average temperature inside the rooms remains a steady -5 degrees, which sounds cold at first, but once you are ensconced inside your thick down sleeping bag (provided) and insulated by layers of reindeer rugs you’ll actually sleep very well! If it all that ice is not to your taste however, the hotel does have ‘warm’ rooms that you can retreat to!
