Travel with a winner

Although travelling with any of Tour Leaders ensures you have an amazing holiday, you might like to try tarvelling with one of winners!

Chris Siviter

Chris who won the Explore 2008 Tour Leader Awards now lives in Belize and leads tours in Latin America. He clearly loves tour leading, saying  

"I love those misty mornings in exotic places. Talking with the animals, volcanoes for breakfast, and lost city sunsets! I have led tours for more than 8 years in Europe, Africa and the Americas, and I simply love what I do; if variety is the spice of life then this job has seen me winter in Timbuktu and summer in the Arctic, take chai with the Tuareg and banter in Berber! People, places, the smiling faces of children. A leader, a guide, a waiter, a washer, a plumber, a bird watcher... the tour leader lifestyle!"


Tours Chris is scheduled to lead include Indian Mexico, departing 5th September and all departures of Discover Belize, the next one being 8th November.

Deepen Rai

Deepen is this year's Tour Leader Awards winner. He leads tours for Explore in Nepal, India and Tibet. Customer nominations for Deepen include
 “Deepen really made our tour. He showed a great approach
of little interference when not necessary and working all the strings/solving all the problems when needed and without much fuss” and “He showed true knowledge (without being overbearing) and respect for the culture and people of Nepal while being a great ambassador for them”

Deepen is scheduled to lead Discover Nepal, departing 3rd October and Everest Lodge Trek, departing 15th November.

Diego Torres

Diego was one of the winners of last year's Tour Leader Awards and also won the prestigious Wanderlust Paul Morrison Guide Award. (He also made the shortlist last year!)  We are immensely proud of his achievements. You can find out more and read an exlcusive interview with Diego here.

Diego leads tours in Ecuador. The next one will be our Volcanoes and Galapagos tour departing 19th December.
