I’ve travelled quite widely but one country I was completely bowled over by was Namibia. It has such amazing diversity and natural beauty at every turn. You can climb the tallest sand dunes on Earth and go to the wild Atlantic coast, then experience a classic African wildlife safari in Etosha National Park and continue to the Waterberg Plateau where you can do some trekking. What more could you ask for on a two week break? On top of that there are so many different tribes and languages in one area: it’s a fascinating place and I’d love to go back. But I have lots of other places on my list too - Bangladesh, Bhutan, Taiwan – and that’s just for starters!
Whenever I travel I pack a massive scarf which can be used for so many things - blanket, pillow, shawl, skirt (for emergency temple visits) or Hijab. Or even just as a scarf! I love mine from Nepal, which is long and wide enough to cover me completely.
