I’ve travelled to all sorts of amazing places but my wish-list is still so long! I would love to travel in Mexico, also in China - and I have so much more to discover in South East Asia.
Last year I was lucky enough to visit the Falkland Islands and absolutely loved it. I am a big penguin fan so that was obviously one of the highlights for me as they have five different species there. Coming straight from the hustle and bustle of London, the tranquility of the islands was wonderful. It was a privilege to be one of only a few people on an island and having some amazing wildlife experiences uninterrupted by other tourists.
One simple but important piece of travel advice: if you are going on a walking holiday, make sure you wear your trekking boots on the plane (or carry them in your hand luggage) in case your hold luggage doesn’t arrive. Most kit can be borrowed or replaced, but a pair of worn-in walking boots is impossible to replace quickly.
