We've planned our family itineraries to be as flexible as possible, leaving you in control of what you see, where you eat and how you spend your budget while travelling with us.

There's nothing worse than being tied to a rigid itinerary; as a family you have your own needs and desires to fulfil, and we want your Explore holiday to be unforgettable for all the right reasons.

The Heart of Egypt, for example, packs in everything from the Pyramids and Egyptian Museum, to a camel trek to St. Simeon’s Monastery, swimming in the Red Sea and the Valley of the Kings. Yet much of it is left optional, giving you and yours the flexibility to do as much, or as little, as you want.

Affordable

Conscious of the current financial climate, we’ve taken great care when planning these tours to make them as affordable as possible, without compromising the adventure or the experience.

And you don't have to go long-haul to have a real family adventure: Our Mediterranean to Marrakech trip is one of our best bargains, yet it is as exotic as any of our adventurous escapes.

Taking advantage of local transport, you and your brood will come face-to-face with some of Morocco's unmissable sights, from its beating heart - Marrakech - to the peculiar smells, sounds and in-your-face sellers of the souks in Fes. Travelling by rail is also on the agenda, taking you along the coast before turning inland towards the grandeur of the High Atlas Mountains.

Likewise, our Saigon to Bangkok Explorer takes in some of South-East Asia's most memorable and fascinating sights, from Cambodia's Angkor Wat and golden beaches of Thailand to the floating markets of the Mekong Delta - all wrapped up in one easy and affordable package.

Fun

On these trips we often use local transport and stay in simpler, family-run hotels. You can expect to be totally immersed in local life, which is far more authentic, and much more fun! Take our Discover Vietnam trip, following the spine of the country from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City and a handful of its intriguing sights in between.

Unfolding in Hanoi, it kicks off with a tour of this exotic Asian city. Its centre is compact enough to discover on foot, from its bougainvillea-lined French Quarter to its aromatic roadside food stalls, draped in noodles and fresh chilli.

Alternatively, live like a local and embark on a two-wheeled tour or try your hand at cooking up a Vietnamese feast. Beyond Hanoi, the weird limestone rock formations of Halong Bay befit a fantastical landscape where guides can regale stories of dragons to your little ones. While the Chu Chi tunnels in the south will open their eyes to its beguiling history.
