Kenya's national parks and reserves make up a land of endless potential for the wildlife enthusiast wanting to go on safari adventure holidays, according to the country's tourism organisation.
Angie Sloan, director of the Kenya Tourist Board in the United Kingdom, said that the huge number of parks - and the variation between them - make the country ideal for people planning adventure holidays.
"The sheer abundance of wildlife ensures visitors will always have an amazing safari experience," she said.
"The national parks are so different in topography and wildlife, so it is definitely worth visiting two or three for completely different experiences, followed by total relaxation on the coast," she added.
For the first quarter of this year the number of UK visitors increased by over ten per cent year-on-year, according to the tourism board.
Kenya is home to 59 national parks and reserves, meaning those hoping to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhinoceros and elephant) have many opportunities to do so.
