Television and radio presenter Nicholas Parsons has passed on some advice for people planning solo holidays.
In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, the Just a Minute presenter noted that his favourite holiday was a recent one.
"My wife and I had the most dreamy holiday ever when we visited the Maldives a few years ago," he told the news provider.
He also said that one thing people must do when travelling is try as large a variation of cuisine as possible, going on to say that his recipe for a perfect holiday is "the right atmosphere and good-quality food".
Speaking about the island nation of the Maldives, Parsons noted that one of the most impressive elements was the cuisine: "The food was out of this world," he said.
