Cambodia Bay named one of 'world's most beautiful'
One of the coastal regions of Cambodia has been inaugurated into the Club of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World.
The club, which is held annually, could be found in Senegal from May 22nd to 26th this year, when Cambodia Bay was bestowed with the honour of being accepted.
According to the country's tourism board, the acceptance into the club will help the country grow as a destination for people on all kinds of vacations, such as adventure holidays and solo holidays.
"Cambodia is firmly confident that being a member of the club will allow Cambodia coastal area to continue leading to international scene, especially contribute to sustainable and responsible development in the coastal area," Cambodia Tourism noted in a statement.
The Club of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World is an international organisation which has the aim of protecting its members' wildlife and flora. It was founded in Berlin in 1997.
