Kenya is home to top safari and great culture
Kenya is widely known throughout the world as one of the best destinations for people planning safari adventure holidays.
But man cannot live on animal-spotting alone and, luckily, the east African country is also home to a great number of cultural sights and festivals.
People planning to take an adventure holiday to Kenya might like to travel in October, as this is when some cities will be hosting the 6th annual Kenya International Film Festival.
Cinemas in Nairobi and Mombasa, as well as other locations across the country, will host the screenings from October 21st to 31st.
As well as showing new films around this year's theme of 'leadership' the Kenya International Film Festival awards will also be held.
Last year, the top prize was taken by the Belgian director Philippe Van Leeuw, for his film Le jour ou Dieu est parti en voyage (The Day God Walked Away), about the Rwandan genocide.
