Country offers a range of climates, all year round
One of the biggest draws of Australia for people on solo holidays is that it is "a year-round destination", according to the tourism body for the country.
Rodney Harrex, who is general manager for Tourism Australia in the United Kingdom and northern Europe, noted that the country's climate is various and can offer different things depending on what travellers want.
"No matter what time of year you visit, there will be great weather to be found somewhere," he said.
"Warm weather is to be found in the southern states between October and March, but when it begins to cool in the south, northern more tropical parts of the country, including the Great Barrier Reef in Tropical North Queensland, are at their best."
People on solo holidays in Australia may like to take in the astonishing 'Red Centre', located in the country's Northern Territory, which is home to Ayers Rock, Alice Springs and Kings Canyon.
