The Indonesian island is 'a tropical state of mind'
People planning a solo holiday in Indonesia will find out that there is more to the island state than being a "fun-in-the-sun" destination.
That is according to an author for the travel guide company, who noted that although the country is home to beautiful beaches and a stunning summer climate, there is more to the island than this.
"The mere mention of Bali evokes thoughts of a paradise. It's more than a place: it's a mood ... a tropical state of mind," the author noted.
"Yes, Bali has beaches, surfing, diving, and resorts great and small, but it's the essence of Bali - and the Balinese - that makes it so much more than just a fun-in-the-sun retreat."
Those travelling to Bali on a solo holiday might also wish to take in other Indonesian islands, such as the exotic Java - which is home to the capital of the archipelago, Jakarta - on their trip.
