The Tall Ships Regatta in Lithuania is perfect for travellers keen on adventure holidays.
Travellers keen on adventure holidays may be interested in visiting the Tall Ships Regatta, which takes place in Lithuania this summer.
The event kicks off in Klaipeda on August 18th and will last until 21st, before sailing on to Gdnyia in Poland and Turku in Finland. The Tall Ships Regatta is ideal for boating enthusiasts and provides a unique opportunity to view a significant number of historic ships in one location.
Augusta Jaudegyte, UK director for the Lithuanian National Tourism Office, said the event will allow tourists to experience the region's rich culture, as well as its natural beauty.
"This is a perfect occasion to introduce Klaipeda's long-established marine traditions as well as beautiful Old Town and surrounding nature," she said.
Ms Jaudegyte added that many ports have been waiting for decades to get an opportunity to host such an event, but Klaipeda is fortunate enough to enjoy the regatta for a second time in three years.
