Santiago is an ideal destination for 'all kinds of travellers'

People planning to take an adventure holiday might want to consider taking a trip to Santiago, as the city "caters for all kinds of travellers".

Cristian Lopez, who is the UK director at ProChile, noted that as well as a wide selection of hotels offering something for everyone, the Chilean capital city has a host of activities and attractions that promise to impress.

"Its location allows for easy access to ski slopes, wine valleys, the world heritage city port of Valparaiso, and pretty coastal towns," he said.

"Apart from museums and art galleries, you can also enjoy fine dining in Santiago in a wide variety of restaurants with both local and international cuisine."

Mr Lopez also noted that the city's shopping offering "will satisfy all tastes".

The latest figures released by STR Global show that hotels in Santiago reported the largest occupancy increase (27.7 per cent) for the Americas region last month.
