South American country has a great cuisine
Chile is a 'high quality' destination for people planning an adventure holiday, according to the trade commission for the South American nation.
That is according to Cristian Lopez, the UK director at ProChile, who noted that there is an abundance of cheap and delicious food across the country - and especially in the capital: Santiago.
As well as praising the cuisine, Mr Lopez noted that people looking for something to do in the evening will not find Santiago lacking.
"Its lively bar and club scene carries on into all hours of the night and live music and festivals are easy to come by. Inexpensive, fresh and healthy food is easily available all round the city," he said.
While in Chile, people on adventure holidays should visit the region of Patagonia, which is also partly located in Argentina. This region is home to the Calbuco volcano, which is a stunning formation which stands at over 2,000 metres tall.
