Groups planning to take a family adventure tours to Africa will find that Vilanculos, in Mozambique, will suit their every need, according to the promotional body for the country.
Mozambique Travel has noted that the area is ideal for those planning adventure holidays with an emphasis on water and marine wildlife.
"Dolphins and whales frequent [the waters surrounding Vilanculos] and there are five species of turtles [and] 80 per cent of Indo-Pacific fish species reside here. You can also enjoy horse-riding and bird watching," a writer for the organisation said on its website.
"Vilanculos has wonderful restaurants and bohemian cafes serving some of the best seafood you will ever taste."
Vilanculos is located very close to the very impressive Barazuto island archipelago, which is home to stunning beaches and coral reefs. All that needs to be known about this group of islands is one of the rocks, called Santa Carolina, is known as Paradise Island.
