Mombasa is a great place for people on adventure travel tours to visit in any month of the year, according to the country's promotional body.
Angie Sloan, the director of the Kenya Tourist Board in the United Kingdom, said that the country is home to fantastic beaches and a generally beautiful coastline, that is good to visit all-year round.
"Mombasa is a year-round destination with temperatures ranging mostly in the high 20 degrees centigrade to low 30 degrees centigrade," she said.
"It is the main coastal city and East Africa's oldest harbour, which attracted traders from Portugal, India and the Middle East. Today it is the gateway to a 500km stretch of dazzling beaches and ocean making it the perfect autumn sun destination."
People visiting Mombasa on holiday might want to extend their trip to an adventure travel tour taking in more of the country, like Lake Nakuru National Park and Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
