Try snorkelling and coral reef diving during a trip to the Seychelles

Activity holidays in the Seychelles are not complete without snorkelling and coral reef diving, it has been claimed.

Nadine Hallak, marketing and PR executive at Cheapflights Media, claimed that visitors will be able to enjoy various activities during their break.

She said: "For nature enthusiasts the Vallee de Mai on Praslin - one of the main islands, is not to be missed. Once thought to be the Garden of Eden, this striking natural palm forest is now a nature reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

"It is also home to 4,000 legendary - and suggestively shaped - coco-de-mer nuts, believed to be the fruit of the tree of knowledge and a powerful aphrodisiac."

Ms Hallak added that the Aldabra Atoll, which is the world's largest raised coral atoll, is a must-see as it is home to the world's largest population of giant tortoises.

Seychelles is made up of a total of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, with 16 of these offering accommodation to holidaymakers.
