Costa Rica could be an option for those seeking eco-friendly activity holidays
Tourists seeking activity holidays could consider Costa Rica, as this is an eco-friendly getaway, a travel writer has said.
Carolyn Scott, writing for the Huffington Post, claims that Costa Rica has stunning natural rainforests and exotic landscapes.
Ms Scott claims that Costa Rica is a good option for those looking to travel with a partner.
She wrote: "It's hard to know where to start, but be sure to include at least a few of the following: a trip to the Irazu and Poas volcanoes, the romantic La Paz Waterfall and Butterfly Gardens or a tour through the Braulio Carillo National Park.
"Bond with your loved one as you zip-line through the rainforests or take a rafting trip."
The travel writer added that Costa Rica is the only place where you can see big cats in the Corcovado National Park.
Wildlife fans may also like to visit Tortuguero, as there are monkeys and turtles, she added.
