Vancouver's views of water are unbeatable

People planning adventure holidays across the Atlantic Ocean may wish to consider Canada, particularly Vancouver.

The tourism board for the area has said that there is a multitude of wildlife to see, despite Vancouver being a city.

A spokeswoman for Tourism Vancouver, the official tourist centre, said that the aquarium based in Stanley Park is one of the best in the world.

"With over 70,000 animals, there's always plenty to see and do [at the aquarium]," she said. "Some of my personal favourites include watching the daily beluga whale, dolphin, and sea otter shows."

Being a coastal city, Vancouver also offers stunning views of the Straight of Georgia and English Bay. The region is also the stunning Lions Gate suspension bridge.

Other places that people on adventure holidays in Canada could travel to include Quebec, which the tourism board has recently said is perfect for activity trips, offering attractions such as dog-sledding.
