Morocco holidays look likely to be popular during Easter, as a leading airline announced that the capital city was one of the most-booked destinations for that period.
British Airways announced on Saturday (February 12th) that near the top of the list of most popular places to visit is Marrakech, to where the airline has just launched new flights.
Claire Bentley, a managing director at a British Airways subsidiary, said that the company has also changed their flight schedules to the Caribbean islands to offer a higher frequency of travel.
"Thanks to a range of new leisure destinations, including Marrakech and even more flights to the always popular Caribbean, customers are sure to find that British Airways can help them celebrate the royal wedding in style wherever we fly them," she said.
Travel writer Lynn Alexander has recently returned from Marrakech and praised it on the Wanderlust website as being ideal for travellers on solo holidays as the sights, smells and sounds of the area are intoxicating.
