Travellers considering a new destination for adventure holidays abroad could consider Hong Kong, Graeme McDowell's favourite city.
Holiday-makers looking for adventure holidays abroad could look at going to Hong Kong after one of Europe's 2010 Ryder Cup heroes named it as his favourite city to visit.
Graeme McDowell, who revealed that he travels for around 40 weeks in every year, told the Daily Telegraph that though he loved his recent visit to the Bahamas, Hong Kong is his best place to go to.
He said that its diverse culture is one of the reasons why he loves heading there and looks forward to golf tournaments a the season's end.
McDowell is currently in Augusta ahead of the 2011 Masters tournament, the first major championship of the new season.
He told the news provider that on his travels, Asia has always caught his eye.
"I've always loved Hong Kong. It's vibrant and culturally diverse - and there is usually a tournament there towards the end of the season," he said.
"Diverse cultures really interest me, particularly in Asia, so I hope to explore these in more depth when I get time."
