Wine tourism board recommends Chile's 'unique landscape' among other things

There is a huge range of things to do on an adventure holiday in Chile, including taking in the fascinating history and "unique landscape".

According to the country's wine tourism body, the South American country offers a wide range of climates, which is good for holiday-makers and for Chilean wine.

In a statement released by The Wines of Chile Experience, they said that the state has "much to offer tourists".

"A unique landscape, a wide range of climates, and an interesting culture and history, which all together provides a wealth of differing holiday opportunities," the statement read.

The Wines of Chile Experience went on to say that, although wine tourism is booming in the country, people on adventure holidays could also make sure the drink does not take up too much of their time, if they want.

"Although wine can be a prime motivator for tourists visiting the country … wine can also be a secondary activity that can be enjoyed as just part of a holiday," they said.
