Czech capital is quieter in the winter months
The whole of the country may be thinking about summer right now, but it will not be long until people need to decide where to visit the Winter.
According to Czech Tourism, people looking for a break in winter will find that Prague is an ideal location to visit on a solo holiday at "the busy time [around] Christmas".
Sylvie Taborova, project manager at the tourism body noted that: "Prague after Christmas is relatively quiet, so visitors can enjoy its atmosphere and sights even more than in high season."
According to the hotel.info Price Barometer for February 2011, Prague proved to have very favourably-priced hotel rooms at 61 euros (£53) per night.
Ms Taborova said the city was reasonably priced for visitors looking for great quality and a superb location.
She advised that people travelling in the cold season should look out for the Prague Winter Festival, which features a number of classical music and ballet performances.
