We drop anchor in front of Poland’s Arctowski Station and are greeted by fur and elephant seals lounging on the shoreline. You'll also be welcomed by inquisitive Adelie, gentoo and chinstrap penguins.

With rugged coastline from Gerlache Strait to the Lemaire Channel, you make your way south across the Antarctic Peninsula.

Drop anchor at Vernadsky Station, the southernmost point on this expedition. It is here that our scientist shipmates disembark and prepare for a summer in Antarctica.

While here, board Zodiacs and explore this historic and wildlife-rich area. You will make full use of the extended daylight hours to explore the Peninsula’s wonders.

Bidding farewell to Antarctica, you sail north towards the Falkland Islands; it’s a time of reflection, entertaining talks and a party or two.

Your days in the Falkland Islands will be spent exploring the outer most islands, which are rarely visited. The spectacular cliffs and sites of the islands are home to an abundance of breeding birds, endemic Cobb’s wren, dark-faced ground tyrants, tussac birds, striated cara-caras, southern giant petrels, ruddy-headed geese, speckled teal and crested ducks.

You will make the most of the Zodiacs, exploring the rich natural history of the archipelago by sea and land.
