Journey to Jinka

Day 4:
Indigenous tribes
Not for the faint-hearted, your time spent in Ethiopia’s most remote national park will provide a lifetime of memories with a visit to the most famous of Ethiopia’s indigenous tribes – the Mursi. This will provide a fascinating insight into this tribe, who insert large circular clay discs into the lower lips of their women.

Day 5:
Journey by road to Turmi
A long drive through a typical dry landscape brings you to the distant town of Turmi, where the colourful Hamer tribe exhibit beaded decorations, painted white skins and scarification. In the afternoon, visit Omo Rate, where you'll take a boat trip across to meet the Dasenech people, known for their body painting.

Drive to Arba Minch via Konso
From Turmi head back to Arba Minch via Konso, an area of terraced farms and peaceful village landscapes. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip on Lake Chamo to see hippos and crocodiles.
