Day 1:
Depart UK
Depart UK and arrive in Quito later the same day.

Located in the old quarter a short distance from the main square, Patio Andaluz is an attractive guesthouse restored to its original design as a colonial mansion. Most of the well-appointed rooms open on to two beautiful patios. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar.
Day 2:
Quito, fly to the Galapagos
Your flight arrives from Quito into San Cristobal Island where you are met and escorted to your boat. Your first stop will be at the breeding centre of endangered giant tortoises. Each lunchtime, evening or night you sail from one island to another.

Santiago Island
Cruise among the impressive cliffs of Bucaneer Cove, learning about the pirate history of Santiago Island. Enjoy a coastal walk along Puerto Egas spotting marine iguanas and fur sea lions.

Snorkel off the lava shores of Fernandina Island. Visit the secluded Tagus Cove and climb to the summit of Darwin Crater for spectacular views.

Isabela Island
Disembark on Isabela Island for a birdlife-rich coastal walk. Snorkel among the cliffs of the partly-sunken Ecuador Volcano.

Rabida Island is a red beach, where a stroll along provides encounters with sea lions, mockingbirds and Darwin's finches. You can also take a glass-bottom boat along the coast. Explore the northern coast of Santa Cruz Island.
