During the autumn and spring temperatures are warm and pleasant, making it the best time to visit Jordan. It can get cold during the winter months and it isn’t uncommon to experience snow in January. The summer can be very hot with high humidity but early morning & late afternoon sight seeing make it just as good a holiday choice at this time.

Visit Jerash
Your introduction to Jordan’s fascinating blend of history, architecture, religion and culture begins with a visit to the impressive Roman city of Jerash. It's colonnaded streets, archways and plazas make this one of the best preserved examples of Roman architecture in the Middle East.

Day 3:
Drive to Petra via Madaba and Mt Nebo
Follow the 5000 year old King’s Highway to Petra, stopping en route at the Christian town of Madaba. Known as the “city of mosaics”, many fine examples of 5th to 7th century colourful Byzantine tiles have been discovered here. Visit Mt Nebo, the point at which Moses glimpsed the Holy Land and home to splendid views, before arriving in Petra.

Free day in Petra
Spend a second day exploring the archaeological wonders of Petra. Observe countless tombs, baths, temples, colonnaded streets and intricate rock drawings, as well as a 3000-seat open-air theatre. The imposing Monastery overlooks the valley from its clifftop position.

Day 6:
Drive to Wadi Rum and explore!
Head for the desert and follow in Lawrence of Arabia's footsteps to Wadi Rum, only you'll explore by 4x4! Here, looming mountains rise from the red sand floor, creating wonderful desert scenery. Why not arrive at your Bedouin camp by camel for a truly memorable experience?

Set in the heart of the protected area of Wadi Rum, the Milky Way camp offers a great setting for a peaceful night under the stars. The camp has a communal Bedouin tent where you can sit and relax, whilst tea and meals will be served around the camp fire. You will have your own private Bedouin style tent, and all bedding will be provided. Of course you can always sleep outside if you wish.
Day 7:
Relax at the Dead Sea
After a night under the desert stars, your journey continues to the Dead Sea. Flanked by mountains, the scenery provides a perfect backdrop as you float at the lowest point on earth. If you wish, indulge in a pampering massage with nourishing Dead Sea mud which reputedly rejuvenates mind, body and spirit!

This locally-owned property is located on the shores of the Dead Sea. It has a fantastic swimming pool complex with waterslides and room for relaxing alongside, and which overlooks the private beach. Drive to Amman and fly home
Unfortunately, time to leave Jordan - drive to Amman, to connect with your flight to the UK.
