Day 1:
Flight to Nairobi
Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Kenya.
Day 2:
Journey to Samburu
An exciting day awaits as you journey to Kenya’s northern frontier of Samburu National Reserve. This rugged and dramatic landscape is home to the Samburu tribes along with vast numbers of elephant, who meander through the tall doum palms and riverine forests. Afternoon game drive.

Day 3:
Game drive in Samburu National Park
Samburu’s grasslands host rich populations of wildlife and were made famous by George and Joy Adamson and their lioness Elsa. During your game drives today, you may spot big cats along with hippos, elephants and buffalos, who frequent the riverbanks to wash off the heat of the day.

Day 4:
Head to Lake Naivasha
Move on to Lake Naivasha, one of the Great Rift Valley lakes. It is a diverse bird and animal habitat supporting mammals such as hippo along with over 200 species of bird. This afternoon, enjoy optional game drives.

Day 5:
Lake Nakuru
Drive to nearby Lake Nakuru National Park, famed for the lesser and greater flamingoes which reside here, painting the lake pink. The park is also home to Rothschild’s giraffe, black rhino and leopard. Game drives in the park will reveal high density of plains game, hundreds of species of birdlife, forests and open grasslands.

Day 7:
Game drive in the Masai Mara
Traverse the vast open plains of this world-famous reserve in search of Kenya’s greatest wildlife. Keep your camera at the ready as big cats, elephants, hyenas, giraffes and a multitude of plains game may all be spotted from your safari vehicle.
