Collect your hire car this morning and drive to Ibera Nature Reserve, approximately five hours drive. Ibera Nature Reserve is an area covering over 13,000 sq km and is the second largest wetland area in South America, made up of marshland, swamp, lakes, lagoons and islands.

Ibera Nature Reserve
Today you'll take a canoe trip through the rivers and lakes of the marshland to discover some of this varied wildlife such as caiman, otters, capybaras, skunks, swamp deer, howler monkeys and some of the 350 species of birds that live here. Starting out at Ibera Lake you'll slowly paddle across its waters, with opportunities to stop and take pictures of the marshland wildlife along the way.
