Uganda is sunny most of the year with temperatures usually remaining comfortable & rarely exceeding 30 degrees. Just like its African neighbours, Uganda follows a similar pattern with two wet seasons during the year. The main rainy season falls between late March and May with rain often lasting days, thus making travel difficult. The light rain season is during November when it generally lasts only an hour or two each day leaving conditions revitalised and refreshed.

Kibale Forest is reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. An early morning game drive takes you in search of lions, elephants and buffaloes around the park. In the afternoon take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. Thanks to the abundant birdlife, herds of elephants, buffaloes and hippos this will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari!

Free morning, transfer to Bwindi
