How was your Explore Tour Leader?

Our guide was very knowledgeable  and  well organised and made sure everything went to plan. He was very friendly  and was very approachable   and good humoured  . He also gave some of us who needed it encouragement. 

What tips would you give to someone else booking this tour?

Get as fit as you can. It might be obvious  but  the fitter you are the more you will enjoy it. I had not done any training but  am relatively  youngish  so still did  but at  a slower pace. I would also have  liked   to see the  spring flowers  in bloom  so go in February  if you can for this.  Wear a mask as the pollution in Katmandu is  very high and you risk getting a infection before you start your trek.

Do you have anything else to add?

I have wanted to go to Nepal for over 10 years , I finally made it  and it surpassed all my expectations  and more. We had a magical early morning  elephant safari  moving through  the 8 feet elephant grass  to track the one horned rhino. The mist made it  very beautiful.
