How was your Explore Tour Leader?
Hector was very helpful but I think that some of our British expectations floored him at times.
What tips would you give to someone else booking this tour?
Be prepared for the altitude & if possible take some herbal remedies, such as Ginkgo biloba & you will get so much more from the trip. Also do not expect good bathroom facilities and try to conquer any fears about unsafe wiring of shower heads.

"We all suffered from the altitude after the trip to the jungle, even our guide. We would suggest that Explore consider reversing the order of travel so that Lake Titicaca is visited before the jungle.
In general the food was good but rustic & we particularly enjoyed the chance to try a different cuisine on our return to La Paz. We had several good organised meals with a great group."
