The whole trip is fantastic, not just for the insight into the three countries visited, Lybia particularly, but also the history of the region and the people who have occupied it in the past, up to the battles of the second world war and the state of each of the countries' economies at the present time. All the guides were excellent and especially our Explore leader Ruth Buehnemann. It was the first trip Ruth had done with Explore and she amazed the whole group with her enthusiasm and the professional way she handled her work. This was my 21st trip with Explore and of all the leaders she is simply 'the best'. (NT -24th September 2010)
