Beautiful scenery on the trek with walking through some lovely valleys and villages. As a family we have walked the highest peaks in the UK but still found this quite challenging - you need to be fit! I suffered from mild altitude sickness but it soon passed before the final ascent to Toubkal which was quite an emotional experience for everyone.
A really well organised trip. The food was great even though it was limited to what the mules could carry on the trek. Go prepared with lots of paracetamol, wet wipes, spare toilet roll, head torch and sweets to eat when you're trekking. I would definitely recommend this wonderful trip to adventurous and fit families.
Marrakesh at the end was bustling and vibrant - a perfect way to end the holiday. (FHA 8th Jan 2010)
