What was the highlight or most memorable moment of your tour?
The amazing scenery of the Amalfi coast & the great time had by the children. Pompei was amazing.
How was your Explore Tour Leader?
Will kept the kids (& adults) entertained with historic facts as well as telling us about the local area. Plus taking us up & down thousands of steps on our walks!
What tips would you give to someone else booking this tour?
An excellent family holiday with mixture of sightseeing & activities.

Great mixture of sight seeing, culture, activities & fantastic food!. This was our first visit to Italy & we'll definitely be back!
What was the highlight or most memorable moment of your tour?
A fantastic holiday with many memorable moments but the highlights were being at the summit of Vesuvius and the view of Amalfi from the mountain walk which our marvellous leader arranged especially for us.
How was your Explore Tour Leader?
Amazing. Such a great guy. Spoke Italian with an Irish accent ! He responded to the different needs of the Group to enhance our enjoyment of the holiday. Everything just worked, I had absolute faith in him and we covered so much in just a week. Could never have done that by ourselves.
What tips would you give to someone else booking this tour?
Read the tour notes thoroughly before departure and research the hotels and places to visit. I wish I'd had detailed maps which I could have brought with me.

I can't praise Donal enough. He really was very good. I'm sold on the Explore Family concept. It just works.

Waking to see the sun rising over the beautiful little town of Ravello in Italy and visiting Pompeii for the first time

Ok but it was the group that made the tour rather than the Leader
